You've got questions, AWESOME!!

Why does holistic life coaching work?

Accountability: Most life coaches have three to four calls a month with their clients. This regularly scheduled call prompts clients to get more done than they would if left to their own devices (we all have habit patterns and loops we’re not fully aware exist). Consistency is KEY! Especially when we are creating new habits. Think about it, if you work out with a personal trainer at the gym, you work much harder than when you are on your own. Clients take bigger actions, set bigger targets and think bigger when they work with a coach.

Experience: I know how to help you set the right targets & intentions, make more money, and structure your life to achieve greater productivity with less stress and less effort. If you want to improve your health & quality of life it has to become a lifestyle you live. Basically, you’ll achieve a lot more way faster with my support.

Delivery:  I know what you're going through, and I am really good at finding the right words to help inspire you to take action. I don't have to beat you up or put you down to get you to jump into action either. Negative actions, produce negative outcomes, and that's just not how I roll.  Coaching calls are typically done weekly.  The goal is to create routine and a flexible framework so you have the best possible opportunities for growth. The experience is challenging & uplifting. You’ll be excited to have our weekly dance party, I mean coaching call with me.

Speed: Most people find that "SHIFT" happens very quickly after hiring me.  Some after their first call.

Who works with a Holisitc Life Coach?

I have experience working with entrepreneurs, business leaders, moms, bodyworkers, holistic practitioners, hair stylists, and yes, even other coaches.   All who were able to reach their desired outcomes (targets/intentions) with the assistance of life coaching.  If there is a difference between who you are now and who you want to be, there is room for life coaching. Not only will I help you close the gap, as your life coach will help you break through your limited beliefs and challenge you to see different perspectives, and even think bigger!

How does life coaching differ from therapy or a really great friend?

Therapy: Life coaching is not a substitute for mental health counseling or therapy. Therapists work to heal issues or traumas from your past. I am not a licensed mental health professional, nutritionist or doctor. If you start the process of life coaching, and have not resolved a past issue, then I will most likely refer you to a therapist.  This doesn't mean that we have to stop working together, or that there is something wrong with you. It is very common for our past traumas, if left unresolved, to pop up and stop us from getting what we want in our lives. Life coaches focus on the here & now and the client’s goals and intentions for the future. It doesn't mean we can't talk about the past, but if it falls outside of my scope, I want to ensure that you get the very best care which sometimes means I have to refer out.  We help people move forward and set personal and professional goals that will help them live their best life. Most of my clients are generally healthy, successful people who might be stuck, stressed or simply want to make a big change in their lives and want to have their own personal coach to support them on their journey. Because traveling alone is well, lonely.

Friend:  A really great friend is wonderful thing to have. But even the best of friends are not objective professionals who you can trust to advise you on the most important aspects of your life or business? There are a lot of things we hold back from even our closest family and friends due to fear of being judged, and if we do confide in a friend sometimes they can’t tell us the truth as much as they'd like to because they're afraid of damaging or losing the friendship. I am never afraid to tell you the truth. I am gentle, compassionate and non-judgemental, I look at your goals from an objective perspective with your best intentions in mind, but I won't beat around the bush or BS you.   As your life coach, I am on your team. I am invested in your success. Sometimes our friends, family and co-workers subconsciously don't want us to succeed, because it makes them look at their own faults or they are afraid of being left behind. This can cause them to play "devil's advocate" or criticize your dreams under the guise of looking out for your best interest. In the coaching world we call these people "Dream Stealers".  It can suck the wind right out of your sails. It doesn't mean they don't love you, they are just projecting their stuff onto you.  So, why not have a really great friends and a life coach?

Why would I hire a life coach?

Let me put it to you this way, if there is a gap between who you are now and who you want or wish you could be, then there is room for life coaching. Why struggle on your own when you can get what you want out of life in less time while building a better foundation, receiving positive support, and some incredibly useful tools of a skilled compassionate life coach?

What are the benefits of hiring a life coach?

  • You start taking more effective and focused actions immediately

  • You stop putting up with petty annoyances and you stop settling for less.

  • You create momentum through clearer perspectives so it’s easier to get results

  • You set better intentions and goals that are based on honesty & what you really want

  • You have more time, energy and flat out feel better about yourself during the process.

  • You start creating new habits that set you up for more success & happiness

Do life coaches work on personal goals or business/professional goals?

Usually both. Life coaches work with all aspects of your life. This is incredibly useful because, if something is bothering or stressing you at work, you can bet your boots, it is affecting your personal life and vice versa. Some clients prefer to spend more time focusing on their business, while others may want to focus on personal issues.  How you use your coaching call is up to you!   Be assured that we will tackle both throughout the process if needed.

Where is the focus of an average session?

We focus where you want to focus. Your goals are my goals, although I might have some radical suggestions on how to reach your goals more efficiently. Sometimes, in order to be more successful in life or business, you need to do some personal work. So don’t be surprised when you get homework from me.

Why does life coaching work?

Life coaching works for several reasons:

  • A good synergy between myself and my clients creates momentum & enthusiasm for your intended life.

  • You feel inspired to create better goals, live with more intention and feel more determined to succeed.

  • You develop new skills and habits, which leads to greater success...did I mention life starts to feel easier?

  • Life coaching provides structure. You have a positive and consistent support system. When we are left to our own devices, we start out with the best intentions and then, we hit a bump in the ride, that scares that crap out of us. This bump, can take us completely off course or cause a long delay. I can help you quickly break through blocks so that more is accomplished with less struggle and less effort.

  • I'm an objective, positive supporter. Not everyone is lucky enough to have such an impartial non-judgemental family member, friend or colleague to provide this. If you’ve been doing it solo, I get it, I've been there, and I've got your back!

Why is life coaching popular?

  1. People are tired of doing what they “should” do. They know they are meant for more, and are ready to do something more meaningful for the rest of their lives. Problem is, many can’t see it, or if they can, they can’t find a way to successfully carry out the necessary changes. A life coach can help them do both.

  2. People are realizing how simple it can be to accomplish something that might have felt out of reach or like a pipedream. I've got a really great roadmap and a bright flash light to help lead the way to your desired reality.

Shouldn’t I be able to reach my goals on my own?

Most people believe they have to sacrifice something to attain what they want. Some people sacrifice their health, their time, their happiness or their relationships, all in hopes of feeling more satisfied with life.  None of this is necessary.  You absolutely can have it all, but maybe not all right this minute! Patience, my friend.  With life coaching, you’ll find you don’t have to sacrifice anything to get what you want. You may need to make a few changes or adjustments, yes, but my clients find they have more time with their family & friends, more money & more opportunities, and are more successful at work after they go through a coaching program with me. Not only do they find they have more time to spend with loved ones, but those relationships become easier and more fulfilling.

Let's think about all the MOST successful people you see in the media.  Oprah, Ellen, Bill Gates or Steve Jobs...None of them got to where they are alone. They all had help, support and people who collaborated and worked with them to achieve their goals.   Now let's think about athletes, yes, they can train by themselves and possibly still make it to the Olympics, but do you think they would dare do that... NO.. They hire coaches to provide them with support, accountability and a consistent routine so their athletic performance becomes second nature... YES, I MEAN A HABIT!

Why would people who are already successful hire a life coach?

Truth is nobody really needs a life coach, but... they WANT one!  Are you doing what you really want or enjoy?  Are you tolerating or putting up with anything? Are you just existing or do you generally feel good about life? Is life easy or are you struggling? Are you on the path to financial independence? Do you have what you really want?  Are you satisfied with your level of happiness?  Are you consistently giving all of your time away to others, and feeling like you have no time for yourself?  Most people expect a lot more out of their lives, and truth is that everything you really need you already have, you just might not be able to see it. Life coaching really speeds things up and helps you to have a different outlook on buckle up, your in for an exciting ride!

Can life coaching hurt someone?

No. You live your life, not your life coach.  The client is ALWAYS responsible and in charge of their own life. Clients makes their own decisions and take their own actions. Life coaches provide positive accountability, support and encouragement. While I might challenge you to think differently, see a different perspective or suggest that you try a different or even radical approach than one you'd normally take, you must decide whether to take the advice or not. Life coaches do not in any way control the client’s thoughts, actions or life. If you feel bad after a coaching call, for any reason, let me know about it.  It's probably a miscommunication or we may need to adjust our approach to better fit you.  If this happens consistently, I may not be the right coach for you, and that's ok.  I would rather that you are honest and upfront with me right away, so we can make adjustments. I promise not to take any offense, my goal is always to leave you better than the way I found you.   You should generally feel uplifted and motivated to take action at the end of each coaching call.  You should feel good about yourself and what you have accomplished no matter how big or small.

How long must I commit to working with a life coach?

Working on habits, and behaviors requires a bit of time and consistency, I recommend all new clients start with my Holistic Lifestyle program, this allows us the appropriate time to observe, release and implement a custom strategy designed with you in mind.  However, many of my clients choose to continue working with me after their initial program is completed because they see how much they've grown and are curious to see what else the can accomplish. Custom mentorship programs may become available for those who wish to continue.

How much does life coaching usually cost?

On average most life coaches working with individuals charge anywhere between $300 to $1000 per month for a 30 to 60 minute call 3 or 4 times a month. It all works out to about $100 to $300 per hour.   *Please note: these numbers are purely informational and have been supplied by a third party site in an effort to help you have a better understanding of cost.  I believe in full transparency, I have chosen not to list my prices on this site simply for the reason that I do not want fear to be the reason someone does not get the help they truly desire. Money should never be the reason you don’t create the changes you desire to make in your life, so I have priced my programs fairly and I offer a scholarship program to those who are determined to do what it takes.
